Territorial Service Center of Antola Park

The Territorial Service Center in Torriglia managed by Antola Park Authority offers a transport service on demand and by previous booking reaching Alta Via dei Monti Liguri (AVML) and the main Park destinations.
CST aim at facilitating the transfers of the hikers to reach both Alta Via dei Monti Liguri and vice-versa and its laps and hiking itineraries of tourist and naturalistic value within the territory of Antola Park and not served by public means of transport.

Available means of transport:
Fiat Doblò for no more than 6 passengers
Iveco Daily for no more than 19 passengers
Bus Atp for groups or school groups

Destinations:
For groups of at least 10 persons, the stretches for which the service is active are:

• with departure from Torriglia: Obbi, Passo del Portello, Passo della Scoffera, Caprile, Lago del Brugneto, Pentema, Casa del Romano, and Barbagelata
• with departure from Casella or Busalla: Passo dei Giovi, N.S. della Vittoria, Gualdrà, Crocetta d'orero, Creto, Passo dell'Incisa, castello della Pietra, Senarega, and S. Fermo

At the price of Euros 5.00/person

Period
The service is available all year round, on holidays and days before holidays and every day from 1st May to 30th September.

Tour Guide Service
It is possible to require the tour guide service with Environmental and Hiking Tour Guides of Parco dell'Antola at the price of Euros 100.00/day per groups.

Tour Services and Guided Visits

The Park Authority suggests a rich program of initiatives and tours aimed at enhancing and promoting the territory both from a naturalistic point of view and from a historical-cultural point of view. As a matter of fact, the thick network of trails crossing the Park territory enables to discover very different environments and landscapes, natural features of great value and the important heritage of history, architecture, and traditions of Scrivia and Trebbia valleys.

Environmental Education

Antola Park suggests environmental education programs with the aim to spread the knowledge and the respect of nature, traditions, and the landscape of Alte Valli Scrivia e Trebbia.
To this aim, the Park Authority organizes:

• didactic activities in the classrooms and in the field for students of every age;
• follow ups addressed to teachers and other people;
• updating training courses;
• courses about environmental issues (ex: photography courses and naturalistic observation);
• advice for particular didactic projects suggested by the schools;
• conferences.

Detailed programs

Service Center for Horse Riding Tourism

Inaugurated in 2003, the Service Center for Horse Riding Tourism in Torriglia represents an important plug in the service network of Antola Park.
The structure, created as a stage place for Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, offers the following services: mountain hut for hikers (15 beds), refreshment point, stable for horses, horse riding lessons, trekking on horseback, and activities for the schools in collaboration with the Park.

Casella Small Train

The railway line Genova-Casella, the only narrow-gauge line in Liguria, can be defined as "the railway line of the three valleys" since it crosses Val Bisagno, Val Polcevera, and Alta Valle Scrivia. When the passengers reach Casella, they can rent a mountain bike at a special price, while those who already own it, can transport it on the train, by previously booking the service; you can cycle through interesting itineraries which will lead you at the discovery of Val Vobbia, Val Brevenna, or Val Pentemina, within Antola Park.
